Spain, the coast and the cities.
Most Spanish transfer work is one of three things: an airport to a coastal resort, a cruise ship turnaround, or a golf group that travels with more luggage than it expects.
Where we collect
Málaga is the busiest for us, because the whole Costa del Sol sits within an hour of it: Marbella, Puerto Banús, Estepona, Sotogrande and the golf resorts around them. Barcelona serves the city, the Costa Brava, Sitges and the road up to Andorra. Madrid is business and congress work, and Palma is a summer island market of its own.
We also collect from the cruise terminals at Barcelona, Málaga, Palma and Cádiz, which run to a fixed clock and are planned backwards from the sailing time rather than forwards from a guess.
The routes we run most
- Málaga airport to Marbella, Puerto Banús, Estepona and Sotogrande
- Málaga to the golf resorts: Valderrama, Finca Cortesín and the Mijas courses
- Barcelona airport to the city, Sitges and the Costa Brava
- Barcelona to Andorra, about three hours for the ski season
- Madrid airport to the business district, IFEMA and the city hotels
- Cruise terminal transfers at Barcelona, Málaga and Palma
Emission zones, golf clubs, and the sailing clock
Spain now requires a low-emission zone in every municipality above 50,000 people. Madrid and Barcelona have run theirs for years and enforce by camera; the rest are arriving at different speeds and with different rules. Our vehicles are classified for the zones we work in, which matters most in central Madrid and Barcelona, where a non-compliant vehicle simply cannot reach the hotel.
Golf is a luggage problem before it is a transport problem. Four players with bags and cases is not a four-seat car, it is the size above. It is the most common reason a Spanish transfer goes wrong on the pavement, and it is completely avoidable if you tell us the number of golf bags separately from the number of suitcases.
Cruise days run on the ship's clock, not yours. Barcelona and Málaga both turn several thousand passengers around in a morning, and the terminal approach roads take that badly. Give us the ship and the sailing or docking time and we will build the journey backwards from it.
Questions
What people ask us.
How long is Málaga airport to Marbella?
About 40 minutes in normal traffic, and closer to an hour to Puerto Banús or Estepona in high summer.
Can you carry golf bags?
Yes, and please tell us how many separately from the suitcases when you book. Four players with clubs need a larger vehicle than four passengers without, and that is the single most common Spanish transfer mistake.
Can you reach central Madrid and Barcelona?
Yes. Both run camera-enforced low-emission zones and our vehicles carry the classification required to enter them.
Do you do cruise transfers?
Yes, at Barcelona, Málaga, Palma and Cádiz. Give us the ship name and the sailing time and we plan backwards from it, which matters on a morning when the terminal is turning around several thousand people.
Can you drive to Andorra?
Yes, about three hours from Barcelona. It is a mountain road at the end and a normal winter booking for us.
Do you cover the islands?
Mallorca is a market we work in. For Ibiza, Tenerife and the rest, ask us and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right operator for that job.
Travelling in Spain?
Tell us the golf bags and the ship as well as the address, and the vehicle will fit.
